Bude is a beautiful seaside town in cornwall you will find that Bude has an excellent selection of shops and restaurants as well as cosy English bars all these facilities are within easy reach of our Bude Cottages. You can also visit the Bude Leisure Centre if the weather is poor the pool has a slide as well as a wave machine. There is even a ten pin bowling centre is next door and in indoor childrens play park.

We hope that everyone already knows about the awesome surfing and watersports opportunities in Bude but there are lots more exciting activities you might not know about such as the many miles of relaxing walks around your Bude cottage as well as cycling on the miles of cycle paths in the area.

You can also enjoy horse riding in the many stables around the area - the scenery around Bude is really best viewed from the back of a horse - you can see for miles, other more extreme sports include rockclimbing, gocarting, tennis and squash - there is so much to do in Bude you will have something to do whatever the weather. This popular event takes place each year at the very end of August - New Orleans comes to Bude! here you can enjoy one of the very finest and possibly one of the largest jazz festivals in the UK. In 2010 there were more than 150 fantastic jazz events taking place over the eight days including two New Orleans street parades as well as jazz church services.
